Every disclosure document for every labelled bond. One search.
XframeworkID is the open registry of extra-financial disclosure — the frameworks, opinions, reports and policies behind companies’ sustainability commitments — verified, version-tracked, and preserved with permanent identifiers even after the originals are moved or deleted. Coverage is deepest in labelled bonds: every framework, second party opinion, impact report and EU Green Bond review, linked to the ISINs they back, the documents they review, and the people and firms behind them.
What You Can Do Here
Find
Paste an ISIN, get the framework, second party opinion and impact reports behind it — seconds, not hours of issuer-website archaeology.
Search the registry →Trace
Every document is linked to its chain — the framework an opinion reviews, the impact reports that follow — and to the analysts and firms behind each one. Not a pile of PDFs: a connected record.
See a live issuer →Track
Claims evolve. Every version is preserved exactly as it stood when the claim was made — the receipt for that moment. See what changed, when, and what the commitment originally said. Silent revisions are detected; vanished sources flagged; new publications indexed within days.
Read the evidence →Verify
Every record carries SHA-256 fingerprints and version-locked citations. Prove exactly which version you assessed, years later — independent of this registry.
See a live record →Other databases store documents. This registry knows how they relate, who stands behind them, and how they’ve changed — a record that cannot be rebuilt after the fact.
Who Keeps the Receipts?
When issuers restructure their websites, the framework your investment committee relied on disappears. The opinion that justified the green label returns a 404. Impact reports that should demonstrate allocation vanish within four years of issuance.
“Of 2,216 extra-financial documents published since 2014, 510 are no longer accessible at their original URLs.” XFID Disclosure Erosion Research, 2026
XframeworkID keeps the receipts: the claim as it was made, the review that backed it, and every change since.
For the Firms Behind the Reviews
Your work, permanently findable and attributed
Issuer website redesigns bury second party opinions. Here, every opinion keeps a permanent link, is attributed to your firm and your analysts, and surfaces in every search for the bonds you reviewed. See the provider and analyst leaderboards.
The reference record for the EuGB market
30 pre- and post-issuance reviews and factsheets already indexed under Regulation 2023/2631, attributed to ESMA-registered reviewers. Be citable from day one of the standard. How it works for reviewers →
Independent evidence on disclosure availability
6.2% of monitored source URLs are already dead. Market-wide accessibility statistics, audit-grade records, and the receipts behind every claim. For supervisors →
What’s an XFID?
Every document in the registry carries an XFID — an extra-financial framework identifier, computed from the document’s own content.
Content is the ID
Two copies of the same document, anywhere in the world, produce the same XFID. No registry lookup needed to know they match — the identifier itself is the proof.
It resolves forever
Cite XF-I5ICTDJ-4 in an investment memo, regulatory filing, or term
sheet — it resolves permanently at
xframework.id/XF‑I5ICTDJ‑4, whatever happens to the issuer’s website.
Like DOIs, for disclosure
What DOIs did for academic papers, XFIDs do for bond disclosure — with the registry itself archived independently (DOI 10.5281/zenodo.21297903), so the record outlives any single operator.
